After commissioned, the case study is studied through books and maps, then an onsite analysis with the involvement of the local community.

The survey includes a variety of documentation tools: architectural survey, photo-essays, videos, interviews, to document the local culture of living. A further analysis detects the prevailing house typology and relate it to the neighbourhood morphology. This allows a better comprehension and understanding of the local culture of living, in its strength and weaknesses and also the enhancement and preservation of it.
